Care and respect for the environment is one of the key pillars of westsouls. Environmental Social Flow is an original term with which we want to describe our commitment to nature and how we believe we should put these sustainability values into practice.
We believe that caring for the environment should be carried out in a collective and social way, because it is everyone's business and because together we will have a greater impact, and in a regular and fluid way, internalizing it in our day to day. That among all members of the westsouls family we always contribute in a natural way to the care and improvement of the natural environment that surrounds us.
In this sense, we currently have the endorsements of The Circular Project and Ethical Time as a sustainable fashion brand.
The Circular Project's verification as a Circular Project guarantees that we comply with a triple positive impact: economic, ecological and social, through compliance with the TCP code of ethics. It is a guarantee of good practices in sustainability and circularity in fashion, and represents a commitment to the continuous improvement of processes, as well as the integration of the SDGs in our value proposition.
Ethical Time's Real Sustainable Fashion is a verification that analyses the practices of fashion brands in all areas and at all levels, beyond the composition of their products. It endorses the sustainability of brands in a holistic way, taking into account suppliers, certifications, fabrics, transport and place of manufacture. As well as the impact of the brand and its efforts to build a more inclusive, transparent and sustainable economy.
At westsouls we want to contribute our grain of sand by first making our production chain as ecological and sustainable as possible throughout the process, and second, contributing to improving the environment through different environmental projects.
Below we describe how we are doing this.
MANUFACTURING
Ecological materials
For the manufacture of our products we select only materials that are 100% ecological. We currently work with organic cotton.
Organic cotton originates from organic farming or ecological farming, which aims to make optimal and sustainable use of local natural resources, not allowing the use of external inputs such as chemical fertilizers, herbicides, synthetic pesticides, and genetically modified seeds.
MANUFACTURING
Fabrication process
All our products are designed and manufactured in Spain in an original and very meticulous way, taking care of both aesthetics and consistency with the essence of the brand, advocating local production and valuing the experience and textile tradition that our country has. .
In addition, with this strategy we ensure that the manufacture of our products complies with all Spanish and European regulatory measures, in terms of safety and labor and environmental conditions.
PACKAGING
Packaging
Our products are protected for delivery in compostable envelope bags, and are later packed for shipment in boxes made of 100% recycled, biodegradable and compostable cardboard, perfectly recyclable after use.
In addition, the inks used in the packaging for the logo and other graphics are water-based, so they are not harmful to the environment.

Sealed
Shipping boxes are sealed with a westsouls vegan sticker.
These adhesives are made up of a polyolefin sheet, free of components of animal origin, and a matt white sheet that protects the adhesive, totally ecological and biodegradable.
SHIPPING
Transport
We have not yet found the solution to send our products through a channel that is fully respectful of the environment. That's why we want to offset the carbon dioxide emissions from our shipments (CO2 accounts for 95% of the climate impact of burning fossil fuels for transportation).
We calculate the CO2 emissions of each shipment and allocate a part of the amount to offset all the emissions. This materializes through projects to protect forests, improve biomass through better forest management practices and verify the progress of the project.

Shipping labels and invoices
Even all the paperwork necessary for shipments is made of ecological paper, to maintain our commitment to the environment down to the smallest details.
